Package Overview

Day 01

Amman - Oslo

Transfer from Oslo Gardermoen Airport to hotel in connection with your flight arrival.  Dinner and accommodation at Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Oslo, ideally situated close to the Karl Johans Gate. Your tour escort will meet you at 19.45 hrs (before dinner) in the hotel lobby. 

Day 02


After breakfast you will visit the world-famous Viking Ships. Departure from Oslo, driving via Hønefoss along the charming Halling Valley to the tourist resort town of Gol. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch cross the wild Hardanger Mountain Plateau to Fossli, stopping to view the thundering Vøringsfoss Waterfall with a vertical drop of 180 m. Descend the amazing Måbødal Canyon to the idyllic Hardanger Fjord. Cross the Hardanger Bridge and route to Ulvik. Dinner and accommodation in fjord view rooms at Brakanes Hotel, ideally located on the banks of the fjord. 

Day 03


After buffet breakfast, start of scenic tour along the beautiful Hardanger Fjord, famous for its many fruit orchards. Route via the towns of Øystese and Norheimsund, arriving in Bergen around midday. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon 2 hours tour of Bergen, including a visit to the popular Fish and Flower Market, the famous Bryggen Harbour with its gabled pack houses, and the old Hanseatic Quarter. You will also ride on the funicular to Mt. Fløien, for the best views of the city and fjords way below.  Accommodation at First Hotel Marin, centrally located next to the old Bryggen harbour and close to the pedestrian shopping streets. 

Day 04

Breakfast, then depart from BERGEN and drive through Dale to Voss, train independence in Voss to ride the beautiful Bergen train to Myrdal mountain station, from Myrdal ride on the stunning Flåm railway (descending engineering masterpiece 2,838 feet in less than 1 hour) The Flåm village next to the strait offers opportunities to take pictures of dramatic waterfalls and mountain landscapes. After a break in Flåm, go for a two-hour cruise along the narrow Aurlands and Nærøy Fjords, two branches of Sogn Fjord (the longest and deepest straits in the world), enjoying the spectacular views of waterfalls, towering mountain slopes, snow-capped peaks and a variety of Wildlife, get off at Gudvangen at the top of Nærøy Fjord and continue by bus through stunning Stalheim Canyon and Nærøy valley, across the Vika Mountains to Vangsnes, for a short walk to the beautiful Balestrand resort.

Day 05

Breakfast, a free day at Balestrand to relax and enjoy the pure mountain air and enjoy the scenic views or individual activities. Dinner and accommodation at Kvikne's Hotel.

Day 06

Breakfast, then depart from the hotel by ferry from Dragsvik to Hella, start a scenic tour along the northern side of Sogn Fjord to Sogndal. Continue through the road to Fjærland, and pass under Jostedal Glacier (the largest in Europe) to the village of Skei at the northern end of the beautiful Jølster Lake, get off to the Nord Strait, and tour Olden to visit the world famous Briksdal Glacier. Go on a trip to the glacier with open cars to see the best scenery, dine at the mountain restaurant, continue the tour around the North Strait across Loen and Stryn, to the scenic village of Hellesylt, go on the ferry for a one hour cruise along the stunning Geiranger Strait, With many spectacular waterfalls such as Wedding Veil and Seven Sisters.
 Dinner and stay at Union Hotel (overlooking the Geiranger Strait).

Day 07

Breakfast at the hotel, then leave the Geiranger from the highest serpentine roads and enjoy some stunning views of the strait, before crossing the rugged Grotli Mountains to Lom, and continue the tour across Lake Vågå, before the magnificent Gudbrands valley descends to the famous tourist town of Lillehammer. Stop for lunch at Lillehammer, then follow the trip to Lake Mjøsa (Norway's largest lake) to Oslo.

Day 08


Breakfast , then continue by coach towards the Swedish border, crossing into the attractive province of Värmland to arrive in the city of Karlstad on Lake Vänern, the largest in Sweden. Lunch in Karlstad. After lunch the tour continues through a landscape of forests and sparkling lakes to reach the Swedish capital in the late afternoon.  Dinner and accommodation at the Clarion Hotel Sign, a new first class hotel centrally located. 

Day 09

Breakfast at the hotel, then take a 4-hour tour of Stockholm to see the famous sights: the Royal Palace, Parliament buildings, the old town (Gamla Stan), its narrow cobblestone streets and many antique shops. And visiting the City Hall to see its famous blue and gold rooms (where the Nobel Prize is held every year). Afternoon free in Stockholm. Stay at the Clarion Hotel Sign

Day 10


After breakfast, leave the hotel and head to Stockholm Arlanda Airport to return to Amman.
